Hometown 台灣
台 is a personal project that pays tribute to my hometown, Taiwan. The identity, 台, is the Chinese character symbolizing Taiwan (台灣). I designed a series of posters and apparel that narrate Taiwan's story through a distinct geographic illustration style. Each poster showcases an item that holds personal and iconic significance to me, including pearl milk tea, blue and white slippers, poe divination blocks, pork soup dumplings, sky lanterns, Taipei 101, retro bags, mango shaved ice, tea, and the CKS Memorial Hall.
For the project, I curated and created different typography styles to reflect Taiwan’s spirit—its embrace of diverse cultures and people.
